Dr. Emily Hall is a lecturer, podcaster, and cosplayer. But, most of all, she loves to study all things comics, especially webtoons and webcomics. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Washington in Korean History where she continues to lecture on a variety of subjects, including webtoons, manhwa (Korean comics), pop culture, literature, humor, and film. With her limited free time, she likes to spend it writing, reading, interviewing webtoon creators, experimenting in digital media, and gaming with her family.
